Coaching Path
Cam came up through the Orland Park Vikings program and started learning the coaching side of the game early, serving as a student coach from age 14 through 18 while finishing his playing years.
After 18U, he chose college education over pursuing hockey past youth hockey because he already knew he wanted to build his future around coaching. He attended Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, earning a degree in Film, then quickly made his way back to the rink.
Before moving to Atlanta, Cam coached one season with Orland Park. After relocating, he joined the Atlanta Madhatters and continued developing as a youth hockey coach. His coaching resume includes three state championships and three national appearances (all three in ATL), with state titles in Georgia and Illinois.
At BAHL, the focus is direct: build skaters first, support coaches, improve communication, and create a rink culture where players are challenged, supported, and accountable to each other.
